My Criterion Closet

This collection of reviews is intended to highlight films from The Criterion Collection. The Criterion Collection has been around since 1984, and according to their website, they are “dedicated to publishing important classic and contemporary films from around the world in editions that offer the highest technical quality and award-winning, original supplements”. They are my personal favorite of what the internet refers to as a “boutique label”, and I would like to use this platform in part to share my thoughts on the films from their collection that I own. I will not spend time on the “technical quality and award-winning, original supplements”, unless they are of particular importance to my reviews of the films themselves. Please enjoy this deep dive into what culminates as a large chunk of my home media collection.

#490 – Wings of Desire
